WinterFest is a series of Community Drives and Giveaways that directly provides for the children, families, unsheltered and homeless populations, and less fortunate members of the Beaumont and Port Arthur communities. Check out this year's events.

WHY WE DO IT?

At CGEM our motto is "love is what love does." This one phrase give us a 3-pronged approach to saving souls: service, love, and faith:

• We believe that you can't save souls or heal hearts without meeting the real and present needs of the people you're wanting to save.
• We believe that love is an action. If you want to show God that you love Him, you do it by loving his people. Show the love to others that you'd want shown to you when you need it most.
• We believe that faith is found in obedience. God directly calls us to care for not only the less fortunate, widowed, orphaned, and bereaved, but any and everyone who is in need.

We pride ourselves on loving everyone in our community regardless of race, class, or creed.

HOW WE DO IT?

CGEM believes in partnership. A body can't function unless its' parts work together. We partner with:

• Various entities, businesses, & organizations throughout the Port Arthur, Beaumont, and Houston areas.
• A collection of organizations across the State of Texas.
• Various grant providers.
• Individual donors like you.

When we pool our resources and efforts together we are able to reach more and serve more people, and improve the quality of life for everyone we encounter. A rising tide lifts all boats. We're all in this together.
